Town of Kennard – Request for Sealed Bids

The Town of Kennard is accepting sealed bids for Post Office and Town Hall maintenance work.

Scope of Work

• Replace two interior light fixtures in the Kennard Post Office with LED fixtures using the same footprint so that repainting is not required.
• Repair the Post Office door closer.
• Repair two Town Hall door closers.

The previous dusk-to-dawn light has been removed from the scope.

Viewing the Work Area

Anyone interested in bidding may visit the Kennard Post Office between 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Bid Requirements

• Bids must be sealed.
• The envelope must clearly state “USPS Repair Bid” on the outside.
• Bids may be hand delivered to the Clerk or placed in the sewer payment drop box on the south side of Town Hall.
• Bids must be received at least 48 hours before the next Town Council meeting.
• Bids will be opened publicly during the Town Council meeting.

The Town of Kennard reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason.
