Town of Kennard – Request for Sealed Bids

The Town of Kennard is accepting sealed bids for Post Office and Town Hall maintenance work.

Scope of Work

  • Replace two interior light fixtures in the Kennard Post Office with LED fixtures using the same footprint so that repainting is not required.
  • Repair the Post Office door closer.
  • Repair two Town Hall door closers.

The previous dusk-to-dawn light has been removed from the scope and is not part of this bid.

Viewing the Work Area

Anyone interested in bidding may visit the Kennard Post Office between 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, to view the area and understand the work involved.

Bid Requirements

  • Bids must be sealed.
  • The envelope must clearly state “USPS Repair Bid” on the outside.
  • Bids may be hand delivered to the Clerk or placed in the sewer payment drop box on the south side of Town Hall (black deposit box).
  • Bids must be received at least 48 hours before the next Town Council meeting.
  • Bids will be opened publicly during the Town Council meeting.

The Town of Kennard reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason.
